Janette Munao became one of Informed Choice’s first employees when she was hired in 1998 to manage the brand new insurance agency and get it off to a great start. She holds two degrees in Public Relations and Business Administration, and brought with her years of insurance industry experience working with HealthStar, the company that started Preferred Provider Organizations. She also brought valuable management experience from running her family’s restaurant on Washington Island.

After leaving Informed Choice, Janette spent years as an insurance broker, educating those on Medicare about their healthcare choices and helping them select the plans that worked best for their needs. She also assisted many clients with planning for long-term care expenses. She joined the Informed Choice staff again for several years as a Marketing Operations Manager, then transferred to Jack Schroeder and Associates working as the Human Resources Director. Informed Choice was fortunate to welcome Janette again in 2020 as its National Sales Director, where she works to ensure that our clients are served by the best trained and highest quality agents in the industry.

Janette resides in Florida, where she enjoys walking, biking, and other outdoor activities. She also spends time in Wisconsin for work, but is always happy to return to Florida during those winter months.
